Mom died 6/5/17 of complications of a stroke she had in July, 2014. She loved babies, she always said she just forgot that they grow up. She kept busy on the farms helping Dad and raising 6 children. When the last of her babies got old enough, Mom started working at Oberheu’s Restaurant. She had the best times waitressing - especially giving the local highway patrolmen a hard time. Later she worked at Nelson Toenjes Law Office in Shell Rock. In 1984, Mom and Dad moved to an acreage NE of Waverly, until 2013 when they moved into Waverly. Mom is survived by 5 of those babies - Dianne Cheeseman, Bruce Foster, Brian Foster, Rebecca Gade, and Brenda Foster, as well as “The Arns Kids”. Ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive her. Son, David, passed away in 2005, and Dad in 2016.
