I went to Wartburg College from 1971-1973 and then transferred to the University of Iowa. I graduated from the College of Dentistry at the U of I in 1979. I spent four years in the United States Public Health Service as a dentist, 33 years in private practice and then 10 years for a private dental company.
The spring of 2015 I underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation treatment for cancer. I return to work the last half of 2015 and realizing I that I couldn't perform dentistry at my high standards of excellence so I retired on 1/6/2016.
I have two daughters, 41 and 39, and a grandson entering high school and a granddaughter entering 1st grade this fall. They live in Florida.

Hey Jud! Nice to hear about you. Sorry for the loss of your wife to cancer. I had heard that Kathy and you divorced and that she had died. Didn't you live in Arkansas for a while? I spent a month in Savanah, GA a year ago. I remember you being a bruising fullback in high school. Oh, looking good, too.

Thank you for your service! My draft number was 13 and all my friends were in the upper 200s and into the 300s. But it ended up being lucky for me since they ended the draft in March a few weeks before I would have been called up with my April birthday.
