Wendy Fuerstenberg Gilbert

Met my husband about 1977, I was a professional Jockey. Harold was a school teacher out for the summer, training his own thoroughbred. I race rode his horse, we married in 1979. Kids, spouse passing, led me to travel for my kids. My eldest and youngest sons in Arizona than back to Iowa and Illinois, and daughter in Florida than Alaska, gave me places to go. Retired from nursing in 2020.

My cousin Melody and I learned sign language so we could talk to each other in our classes.🤣
